SnipPin Website Privacy Notice
1. Scope This notice covers the SnipPin websites at snippinapp.com (English) and zh.snippinapp.com (Chinese), including their download and legal, guide and third-party-license pages, and the support and privacy email addresses published on them. It does not replace the SnipPin desktop application's Privacy Policy, which covers processing on your device. The desktop application is provided by sixiang yang, an individual developer.
2. What the websites do not collect The websites are static pages. They do not set cookies, do not use local storage for tracking, and do not run advertising, analytics, fingerprinting or visitor-profiling code. Download links point to files on our download host; downloading a file is an ordinary file transfer and does not create an account or a profile.
3. Information processed when you visit Like most internet services, the hosting, content-delivery and security providers that deliver these pages process limited connection data needed to return the page and keep the service safe and available. This can include the IP address, the requested address, the browser user agent, the time of the request and a request identifier. That connection data is processed by the providers listed below on our instruction; we do not build visitor profiles and we do not combine it with information about your use of the desktop application.
Providers: Cloudflare, Inc. provides website hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare operates a global network; requests are handled at the location nearest to the visitor.
4. Information you send us If you email a published support or privacy address, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you include. We use that correspondence only to answer you and to keep a record of the request. Please do not send screen content, personal files or other sensitive information that is not needed. If you attach a diagnostic log, review it first and remove anything you do not want to disclose.
5. Retention Connection data is kept by the providers only for the short period needed to deliver and secure the service, under their standard settings and policies; we do not keep a separate copy. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and a reasonable follow-up period, and is then deleted. Actual periods depend on the providers' policies and the settings in use.
6. Sharing We do not sell information or share it for advertising. Information is processed by the providers listed above to deliver and protect the websites, and may be disclosed where the law requires it. We do not use website data for automated decision-making.
7. Your choices and rights You can browse the websites without an account, and you can control cookies and site data in your browser. To ask about information actually held by the developer, or to request access, correction, deletion or objection, contact the developer at the email address accompanying this notice. Mandatory complaint rights to your competent data-protection authority remain available.
8. Children The websites are not directed at children and offer no child-specific service. Any age-related requirement is assessed for each release territory.
9. Changes A revised notice will carry its own version and effective date and will accompany the relevant release.
